Week 12: Ongoing anatomy assignments
1. Sample questions due Wednesday, 4/15 2. Museum-quality phylogenies due Monday, 4/20! - A great sample is on the class site under "Sample Phylogeny." 3. Study for the Vertebrate skeleton lab practical! The lab practical will be next Friday, 4/24! - Make sure to use the lab 4 lab packet, powerpoint, and specimens in Rm 403 to help you review the material! - You can study with Ms. Rade during office hours (Mondays at 3pm, Tuesdays during 8th pd, Fridays at 3pm or by appointment). :) |

1. You must show me a completed museum packet in class on Wednesday for full credit. 2. You must show a rough draft of your phylogeny in class on Wednesday 3. Have a write-up of the dissection on page 6 for our shark muscle lab. |
Week 7: Friday, 3/2/2015
1. Hand in "Your Inner Fish" packet from last Friday if you haven't done so already. 2. Choose a bone that is found in Amia, Necturus, Alligator, and Felis. Compare its size, shape, and position in all four species. 3. Sketch a bone or a skull of ONE species & label it. 4. Choose one body system in the Shark virtual lab (found on our class website)& write down five features of this system. You may also include a drawing. 5. Have a great evening! |
Week 4: Due Wednesday, 3/4/2015
Turn in your scientific illustrations by Wednesday (consults your rubric for a complete list of requirements)! This includes: 1. The drawing, complete with: a. Common name and Scientific name b. Anatomical Labels 2. A description of the species drawn. |

1. Complete Lab 1 for Unit 1 (Evolution & Taxonomy). Remember: -10 species in your species identification chart & in your phylogeny (1 species may be an invertebrate). -Have at least three sentences for each species description. -Include a picture (bonus points if all the images have anterior facing to the left). If you need me to print it, share it and send me an email asking to please print this out for you. 2. Write up more details about the following Darwin Day Nerd Facts for: a.
