Please complete the document sent to your inbox on Friday.  If you were in class on Friday, this means, just complete the document you started in class.  If you missed class Friday, that means, look for the document I sent to your inbox called "Identify and Evaluate Materialist's Claims on Deltron Otto case.

I apologize that you received two emails at the beginning of the class.  I inadvertently emailed you a spreadsheet, and then sent the actual document.  I have deleted to spreadsheets so the link in that email won't work.  But the link to the actual document you need to work still exists and still works.

See you Monday!  We will have a fishbowl discussing arguments and counterarguments for Deltron's case against NY.

Please read and annotate Fesser's Explanation of Functionalism, the handout distributed in class today.  This will likely be just as challenging as last night's reading if not more.

Complete the worksheet to EVALUATE HUME's ARGUMENT on the MIND, which was was sent to your inbox/drive.

Two things to remember:

You need to evaluate at least two or three of the premises.
To evaluate, you need to do more than just ask questions.  Develop Counterarguments or Explain CounterExamples.

For Friday, read the chapter "HumeIn Sophie's World, pg 263-270.

Stop at "the final link between faith and knowledge was broken."  This is after he talks about Buddha.  Stop when they start talking about miracles.

This one is going to hurt your brain a little bit.  Take your time and enjoy the challenge.
