Genocide/Human Rights - Class Page

This semester-long Humanities class is a rigorous approach to the following questions: Why does genocide occur? How can journalists, historians, politicians and citizens react to genocide? To what extent should atrocities around the world be classified as genocide?  Within this class we will use both primary and secondary non-fiction sources as well as literature in order to understand why genocides occur and how they are prosecuted on a world stage.
